日本内阁官房长官松野博一4日在记者会上，在谈及中国反对美国众议院议长佩洛西访台，在日本专属经济区(EEZ)等海域进行大规模军演时指出：“这可能有损于包括我国在内的地区的和平和安定，政府向中国方面表示严重的关切。”
日本防卫省表示，落在日本专属经济区的5枚中国弹道导弹中有4枚可能越过了台湾。
